I think the grounds on which the judge dismissed it are ludicrous, what about delivering the papers to any one of a few hundred thousand churches across America, these are God's houses after all.

Not only that, by failing to recognise God in this way the judge makes a mockery of the oath that he is sworn by, that law is sworn by, that marriage abides by, that the US President is sworn in by...

I too agree that religion has had its days. Good riddance if you ask me... roll on mass enlightenment

In response to:God is a criminal?

A better world is through you and your inner being.
I agree religion blocks what can be the beginning
of freedom through a higher level of consciousness.
Xmas pressies???
Well it is also the spirit of gifts to loved ones
All the best!

Yes, I suppose I agree with you. The post was more a rant about being frustrated with the pace of change and Christianity than anything else. It amazes me how people believe in all these 'stories' and ideas without ever really questioning them for themselves, and if they started doing so I think we'd be well on our way for a better world. I think power is dangerous and inherently corruptive (to most people) and the church has way too much of it.

Gotta go look for some Xmas pressies now! : )

In response to:God is a criminal?

Hello to you!
There is an eternal, ever present one life beyond the myriad
forms of life that are subjected to birth and death,
many people use the word "God" to describe it.
I often call it "Being" it is your very presence.
Being is not only beyond but also deep within.
I so agree.

In response to:Facebook addiction

Yes, I know what you mean. Facebook can be very self-censoring because you dont necessarily always want all of your friends to know exactly how you feel at a certain point in time, and also you dont know who will be able to read your comments in 10 years time.

So to achieve a more honest form of expression, a blog is much more satisfying.

(But then again, thats just me...)

In response to:Facebook addiction

I just hate Facebook.
